What will you manifest in 2021? 20 Positive Affirmations to get you through the year

If you have been following my blog for a while, you will know that I am not a believer in New Year resolutions. My reason behind this is that, I tend not to stick to my resolutions past the first 30 days and then before you know it, I am disappointed in myself. A few years ago, I started speaking more manifestations into my life. I am a firm believer in speaking those things that you want into the universe. What you put into your everyday life, in my opinion, affects the results you get out of life. While I cannot ever predict what will happen to me personally or anyone else for that matter, I can say from past experience that my attitude has greatly impacted my outcomes throughout my life. My partner in love and life often says that I don’t think realistically, but that is just not true. Being realistic and being pessimistic are two separate entities to me. Why would I ever wake up and start my day off by saying, “Today is going to be the worst day of my life”. That would just be silly. Think about how many times, you have spoken negative consequences into your universe. We do not do it on purpose. Often, subconsciously it is just how we naturally think. How will you challenge yourself to think differently in 2021? I know so many people who feel that 2020 was the absolute worst year of their lives, but have you ever considered the silver lining that came out of the chaos? Not many people knew it, but I was furloughed from my own job during 2020 for over four months. My anxiety was through the roof for those four months. I was not sure if I would end up back in my job. I submitted hundreds of job applications with no positive turn. All of our household finances fell on one income. My son was doing virtual Kindergarten and my nerves were shot having to deal with it. I was trying to potty train a one-year-old, cooking more meals than I had done all of 2019, and balancing graduate school. My small business was shut down due to lack of Farmers Market events. My relationship was being tested, because I was use to controlling more pieces of my household, and now I had to depend on someone else to keep things glued together. The money I was saving, was no longer for a rainy day, but instead to ensure if all else failed, we had a reserve. Through all of it, I remained strong in my faith that things would continue to work well for us. In my opinion, 2020 was the best year my little family had had in a while. I got engaged, we bought our first house, potty-trained our daughter before two, started a candle business, got a pay-raise, and took myself one step closer to achieving my Doctorate degree. Not for one second, do I believe any of this happened by luck. Our homebuying journey was so testing of my faith, Kevin (my love) wanted to just throw in the towel, but everyday I woke up and said, “We are buying this house”. When he thought he would be laid off earlier in the season than expected, I spoke positivity over him. I speak positivity over everything I do in my life and this year will be no different. I want to leave you with some positive manifestations that you can speak into your life this year. Understand that manifestations are not instant, nor are they a one-time deal. You have to speak LOVE, LIGHT, HAPPINESS, and POSITIVITY over your life at all stages, not just when you think it will benefit you the most. My first affirmation is going to be the most important one of the year for me and I pray it touches someone else as well. Start your day off with one affirmation per morning and I bet you will see a life changing difference in how you perceive things around you.

  1. I also quit making new year resolutions for the same reasons as you. I loved reading these positive affirmations. My favvourite was “I am in control of my success”.

  2. These are great. One that I have adopted this month is “Parenting is hard, thanks for doing this.” It helps on the days when I’m frustrated with the kids.
